Argox Launches the CP-2140 Barcode Printer

This month Argox launches its latest barcode printer, the CP-2140. This new desktop printer offers the space-savings of a small printer but with the capacity of a large printer and at a more competitive cost. The CP-2140 is designed to use a 300M long ribbon for bigger printing demands and less frequent ribbon changes. Other benefits include easy loading of ribbons and media, an automatic mechanical switch for ribbons wound either ink-side in or ink-side out, flexible media sensor selection for diverse media and applications, and auto-calibration for more precise printing. Multiple communication interfaces such as parallel, RS-232, USB and optional Ethernet (CP-2140E) also provide greater convenience.

 

The CP-2140 has a printing speed of 4ips at a print resolution of 203dpi, with 4MB flash and 8MB SDRAM of on-board memory. It’s quiet with minimal printing noise and its modular design is easy to maintain. Add the Argokee keyboard and a scanner, and the CP-2140 excels as a stand-alone printer. The CP-2140 is ideal for applications such as retail, mailing, patient tracking, inventory, shipping & receiving, self-labeling, and clothing tags.
